Getting Started
Let us explain how Auction Storm works:
1) The starting price for each item is set at $0.00 and increases with increments of $0.01, $0.03, $0.05, $0.07 (depending on the auction you are bidding on).
2) Placing a bid costs a fixed price of $0.60, and bids are available in BidPacks of 30, 50, 75, 100, 150, 200, 500, and 1000. The bigger the bid pack you buy, the cheaper it is per bid.
3) There is a timer displayed on each auction which shows the time left until the auction ends.
4) Whenever a user places a bid, the timer increases by a period of 30 seconds.
For example - If a bid is placed when only 5 seconds are left for the auction to end, the timer will increase by 30 seconds. So, the auction will end in 35 seconds now, unless a new bid is placed.
5) If a user places a bid and there are no bids placed after that user till the end of the timer, the auction will end. The last user to place a bid wins the auction. That user then pays the final auction amount for the item won, usually at pennies on the dollar compared to retail.
6) The winning user must pay the winning auction price within 7 days to ensure a smooth delivery.
